Mr. Anionye Eka-Iloma joined Platform Petroleum Limited on 1st February 2006 as a Government/Public Affairs Officer and served as the Head of the Community Affairs Unit until March 2013. During this period, he led the negotiation teams that produced the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th editions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Platform and its host communities, prior to the enactment of the Petroleum Industry Act.

He also oversaw the acquisition of land for the company’s Oil Pipeline Right-of-Way, and in 2010, was seconded to the SPDC/SEPLAT divestment team as a representative of Platform Petroleum Limited.

In 2013, he was transferred to the Legal Department as a Senior Legal Officer (SLO) responsible for litigation matters. He was subsequently promoted to Manager, Legal in 2017. He currently serves as the General Manager, Base Offices.

Mr. Anionye holds an LL. B (Hons.), LL.M, MLD, and BL. He was called to the Nigerian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is happily married and blessed with three children.
