Platform Petroleum Limited recognizes the crucial role of health safety and environmental matters in the determination of long-term business success, this has become apparent, especially with recent increased societal aspirations and escalated penalties for inadequate performance. To meet this challenge, platform petroleum has adopted a systematic approach to HSE management, which ensures compliance with the law and to achieve continuous improvement.
Platform Petroleum Limited has developed a HSE performance framework, which integrates existing quality-based systems, an Environmental Impact Assessment and Health Risk Assessment into a common integrated HSE Management System as recommended by ISO-14001 Standards. The HSE-MS is being used as a tool to demonstrate and communicate the Company's commitment to manage its business and most importantly the Environmental Aspects of it in a systematic manner consistent with its policies and business objectives. |

- Defined organizations, responsibilities, resources, standards and documents needed to meet the objectives
- Identified hazards and effects which require control, and the HSE critical activities which provide this control.
- Development of plans and procedures for identified HSE critical activities.
- Implementation and monitoring of plans and procedures for relevant activities, and the initiation of corrective action as required.
- Implementation of an audit plan to verify that controls are in place and operational, identifying corrective actions and improvements.
- Management reviews of the system to verify that objectives are being achieved, identifying corrective actions and improvements.
