Security Policy
It is Platform Petroleum Limited policy to provide security support in order to conduct company operations with minimum risk to all of the personnel, property, and company assets. This is implemented through continuous assessment and management of risks.  
 
The Field Operations Manager and the Chief Security Officer shall agree on security measures including:
  • Identifying and evaluating of the threats, vulnerabilities and risks to the personnel and company property.
  • Planning, implementation and supervision of timely and cost effective protective security measures to protect company assets and limit the impact of security threats.
  • To ensure proper reporting and investigation of all security threats and incidents.
  • To develop contingency plans to counteract the effect of any security incident or emergency in order to minimize the risk to personnel and potential damage to assets.
  • Guidelines on good security practices to all of the employees.
  • To enforce adequate access control on all our job-sites and facilities.
  • Liaison with law enforcement agencies and the armed forces.
  • Armed forces operatives attached to the facilities shall follow their rules of engagement as directed by their deploying authority.
