The Four (4) Host communities, namely Adonishika/Ogeuzu, Ilogoli, Umutu, and Akoku nor, are of Ukwani Ethnic group in Delta state of Nigeria. Their dialect is Ukwani Language.
Each of these host communities is headed, by a traditional ruler, known as Okpala uku, who is the oldest man, in each community.
These host communities, therefore practice Gerontocracy. The Okpala uku, governs, with the inotus, i.e. Traditional chiefs.
There are various festivals, common to all the host communities, such as Ikenga, Ukwata (Worship of Ancestral Totem), isu-me-iji (New yam festival) e.t.c. These festivals, are colorful and revered in these communities.
Occupationally, most of the people of these host communities are farmers, who produce crops like yam, cassava (garri), plantain, and some are into fishing. They also engage in Rubber and palm wine tapping.
